Spike Lee Chooses Knicks NBA Championship Over Oscar

If filmmaker Spike Lee had to choose between an Oscar or a Knicks’ NBA champions, the answer for the Brooklyn native would be simple: an NBA Championship.

A user on Twitter posed the question for the die-hard Knicks fan.

“Winning an Oscar or seeing the Knicks win a title ? I need an answer Spike,” Twitter user @Loran_Fla asked.

“Getting a 3rd Ring For Orange And Blue YO,” Lee replied.

Lee is no stranger to the Academy Awards. His film “Do The Right Thing” was nominated for Best Original Screenplay in 1990. His documentary “4 Little Girls” was nominated for Best Documentary (Feature) in 1998.

Lee could possible get his wish this season. The Knicks are off to a good start and are poised to make the playoffs. They are currently third in the Eastern conference standings with 33-20 record.
