Columbus Artist Louie XO Hopes To Take Off With New Tape “P30JECT”

Louie XO is currently celebrating the release of his latest tape “P30JECT (Deluxe).” The title of the project – now available on YouTube and SoundCloud – has special meaning for the Midwest artist.

“My latest project ‘P30JECT’ got its name from being not only my 4th album, but also my 30th project hence the name ‘P30JECT.’”

Louie, who describes his sound as a “breath of fresh air with catchy hooks and clever lyrics,” has been making music for well over a decade having found this passion his freshman year of high school in 2013. The 26-year-old Ohioan draws musical inspiration from Lil Uzi Vert, Pierre Bourne, Young Thug and Chief Keef.

Louis is not only a fan of Uzi and Pierre; he also hopes to collab with two at some point in his career.

Off this tape, Louie is pushing his lead single “Hugh Hefner” where he continuously says, “I just want a new life” in hopes of blowing up mainstream.”

As far as Louie is concerned regarding his longevity, there isn’t much of a concern.

“My creative process is ‘Live Life, Make A Song,’” Louie says. “All I need is a day to run its course and I’ll have something to talk about.”
