The Game Says Black People Rather Dab and Hit Them Folks Than Protest Police Brutality

The Game is upset with last night’s shooting of Alton Sterling by Baton Rouge police. Game is not okay with what he calls this generation’s lazy form of protest through social media.

“All we gone do is repost it and type ‘smh’ over and over again huh,” he wrote on IG. “Then we gone put #JusticeForAltonSterling and #BlackLivesMatter hashtags on Instagram and pretend that’s us taking action huh?”

Game went on to say the folks of the Civil Rights era stood for something and actually mobilized to affect change.

“What happened to the generation of people who stood together, held hands & took to the streets peacefully or violently if it had to come to that & wouldn’t move or be detoured from that stance until real results were handed over to us?!?!?” he wrote. “Huh ??? WTF is wrong with us these days that we will sit here & watch a video of yet another innocent man shot & killed in cold blood by police officers in this country ?!?!? WTF is wrong with ME, YOU & everyone else who will watch the video & read this caption & DO NOTHING until it happens again… Then what we gone do ??.”

Game continued, “When it really seems that they don’t at all… & if#BLACKLIVES don’t even matter to#BLACKPEOPLE why the f— would they matter to anyone else ?!?!?!? What on earth is wrong with US ?!?!?!? But lemme stop so we can get back to turning up, dab’n & hittin “them folks” while this man lay dead in a county morgue for selling some f—— CD’s & asking what he was being detained for ?!!?!?!?!? NAW, f— this……. WE AINT HAVIN THIS S— NO MORE !!!!!!!!!!!#THETIMETOFIGHTBACKISNOW !!!!!#MartinLutherKing got shot on a f—– balcony because he wasn’t scared to stand up for our parents, grandparents & US…. The reason our black asses can even do 1/2 the s— we do is because that man sacrificed his life along with many others so we could….. & we ain’t even got enough heart to stand together as a RACE & pay them back !!!!#IMNOTSCARED.”

Baton Rouge is in an uproar after cell phone footage surfaced of the fatal shooting of Alton Sterling by Baton Rouge police.

Sterling, 37, was selling CDs outside a convenience store when police arrived on a report he had a weapon. A struggle later ensued between Sterling and the two officers and Sterling was ultimately shot.

One of the officers discovered Sterling had a gun on him during the struggle before they opened fire on him.

A gun was later removed from Sterling after he was shot dead.

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards told reporters today the U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division would be the lead agency investigating the shooting. The U.S. attorney’s office in Baton Rouge, the FBI and state police also will be involved.
