A 21-year-old University of Rhode Island basketball player has been arrested and charged with posting his sexual encounters with two female students on Facebook, the Providence Journal reports.

Johnathan Holton, who averaged 10.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season, reportedly was charged with two felony counts of video voyeurism.

The sex acts, though consensual, were placed onto the popular social media site without their permission. Four videos have been turned over to police, The Boston Globe reports.

“These are disturbing allegations that strike at the core of our commitment to make this a safe and civil campus community,” Thomas R. Dougan, the school’s vice president for student affairs, said in a statement. “Respect for the rights and privacy of all of our community members is paramount. Campus police and Student Affairs are involved in separate intensive investigations surrounding these allegations.”

New Rams coach Dan Hurley has suspended Holton from the basketball team.
He was arraigned in District Court in Wakefield on two felony counts and released on personal recognizance.
