King Louie was the guest of honor at a special art show on Valentines Day at the Lacuna Artist Lofts. The art show “An Evening With The Music Of Grammy Nominated King Louie” was the work of esteemed artist Tony “720” Collins.





Collins was motivated to set up the art show due to King Louie’s influence on Drill Music scene in Chicago.

Collins posted an image of a near complete art piece of Louie’s likeness with a caption that read, “It’s very rare that you get a chance to meet the most dominant one in a particular field (Drill Music is the voice of the Chicago streets. The soundtrack of the youth of a city with one of the highest per capita murder rate in the country. There’s no doubt in my mind that this music will be studies and defined by the very people who are in some cases responsible for this climate. King Louie is one of the most truthful.”



Louie was pleased with the outcome of this piece and snapped a photograph with a friend.

“Me & da #BroGod @lawlessinc,” the caption on the post read.



Collins also lent his talents for another Louie art piece.





Artist Jas Peterson also lent her talents to two Louie pieces. One of the art pieces also features Chance The Rapper.



Louie took a photograph with Peterson and thanked her for her time spent on the artwork.

“Thank @jas_peterson 4 creating such a awesome piece of #WORK & taking a pic wit the #GOD,” the caption on Louie’s IG post read.



King Louie continues to set his mark on the Drill scene. The “Tony” rapper recently dropped his latest mixtape “Drilluminati 2” to positive reviews.
