Robin Gibb, a member of the group Bee Gees, succumbed to cancer Sunday at age 62, the Associated Press.
Gibb reportedly died following a long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. Gibbs’ group grew in popularity during the disco era with hits like “Saturday Night Fever” and “Stayin’ Alive.”
The Bee Gees were successful during their career selling 200 million records and were inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Gibb is survived by his second wife Dwina, four children, older brother Barry Gibb and sister Lesley Evans.
