Chicago native Keven Stonewall is being heralded as one of the nation’s up and coming scientists due to his work on developing a potential vaccine for colon cancer.

Robin Gibb, a member of the group Bee Gees, succumbed to cancer Sunday at age 62. Gibb reportedly died following a long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. Gibbs’ group grew in popularity during the disco era with hits like “Saturday Night Fever” and “Stayin’ Alive.”
