Famous Dex was confident he’d make 2017 XXL Freshman class. Dexter, however, was not selected on one of Hip Hop’s most coveted lists.
Dexter appeared emotional when speaking about his absence from this year’s class, but told his IG Live viewers he is motivated to work harder.
“It’s life, y’all. What about next year? What about next year, Dexter? If God let me see next year, on my son, I bet I make XXL,” Dexter told viewers. “Cause you know what I’ma do all this year? I’m finna drop an album, I’m finna f*****g go crazy!
“I’m not mad y’all,” Dexter continued. “I’m mad people representing me disrespecting XXL. We gon keep on going, we get stronger. We keep going up, we keep going to the top. You let folks around motivate you to keep on going. Don’t stop.”
Dex took to IG to congratulate the artists selected prior to getting on Live.
