Lil Uzi Vert Introduces ‘Luci-4’ Shoes

Lil Uzi Vert continues to rep his upside down cross movement. Uzi decided to customize his Nike Air Jordan 4 retros by having an upside down crosss stitched or drawn onto the tongue of the sneaker. Uzi showed off his sneakers on his 23rd birthday on Monday, July 31, while hugged up with social media fitness model Brittany Renner. Fans have dubbed the sneakers “Luci-4s.” Lil Uzi Vert’s sounds like Lucifer when sped up.

Uzi recently copped four icy upside down cross chains.

Uzi caught flack last May for promoting Satanism when he sported an upside down cross chain. Uzi copped the chain in honor of his music idol Marilyn Manson.

Marilyn Mansion essentially confirmed Uzi support of his Satanist movement in an eyebrow-raising Instagram post.

Manson posted onto IG a photo of Uzi holding a custom icy Ben Baller chain modeled after his image.

He captioned the post, “Lucifer Rising.”

Uzi liked the post in addition to commenting with a fire emoji.

Marilyn Manson’s upcoming “Heaven Upside Down” album and tour also appears to hint the meaning of Lil Uzi Vert’s upside down cross.

Uzi expressed his love for Marilyn Manson during an interview with Nardwuar.

“That’s my father. The Pale Emperor. Listen here, at age 27 I will leave this Earth for this man right here. He’s the pale Emperor.”

Uzi said Manson inspired him to wear a grill.

“I saw Marilyn Manson. He had like the platinum grills and that’s when I got my first ones,” Uzi explained. “And honestly, I didn’t even buy them. My grandma bought those. I paid her back right away though.”

Manson explained Satanism in an old interview.

“In America, Satanism is sensationalized and kinda misunderstood. People associate it with worshipping the Devil,” Manson said. “But it’s really a philosophy of individuality and self-preservation. It’s about being your own God.”

Uzi’s promotion of the upside down cross had upset Migos Offset.

Offset suggested that artists who wear upside down cross chains “get with God.”

“All y’all n****s wearing upside down crosses, even my little partners, stop that s**t. You look lame,” Offset said. “All that worship the devil s**t. Get with God man.”

Uzi was unbothered by Offset’s criticism and continued to troll fans on his IG by posting the satanic symbols, including “666” and “upside down cross.”

Offset wrote in Uzi’s comment section, “I will pray for you my brother.”

Sahbabii was not too pleased with Offset’s comments about his “unknownism” culture.

Sahbabii lashed out against Offset in several posts that have since been deleted. The Ninth Ward rapper called out Offset for donating only $1,000 to Atlanta’s Booker T. Washington High School.

“I showed these n****s respect now f**k Migos!! We ain’t goin for no disrespect. Nobody asked this lame a– n***a opinion,” he wrote. “N***a you look lame f**k you talmboud. My cross gone stay upside down y’all n****s donate $1000 to Washington but throw $10,000 in a club. I will beat yo a–.”

SahBabii went on to explain the meaning of his “Unknownism” movement.

“I created this ideology for seeking the truth,” SahBabii said. “I had this mindset since a young boy. I stand strong behind this and we will kill for it. Book coming soon!! Unknownism0 accepting the fact of not knowing if all of this bullsh*t they tell us is true. 666 6 protons, 6 electrons, and 6 neutrons. This has nothing to do with Saint Peter. Unknownism is life. Sorry, we are open minded and don’t follow the wave and believe in bulls**t that hasn’t been proving. Much love to my unknowns #666.”

SahBabii later posted a video calling Offset out.

“You was the first b***h a– n***a to take this s**t to the Internet,” SahBabii said. “You’s a h*e a– n***a. Stop speaking on street s***t you industry pig tail wearing b***h. This n****s wearing pig tails, b***h style. N***a, this s**t all on the Internet. I’ll be glad to be your a– though.”

It didn’t take long for Offset to respond.

“Stop it SahBabii, whatever the f**k yo p***y a– name is,” Offset said. “You fake claiming. You ain’t PD. You ain’t Slaughter Gang. You ain’t the mob. Ain’t from Atlanta. You from Chicago. You ain’t the mob. Ain’t Slaughter Gang.”

XXXTentacion is standing in support of SahBabii in defense of the upside down cross. X took to social media to explain his meaning of the upside down cross.

“By the way, for those of you who don’t know what the upside down cross is, it’s nothing satanic,” X said. “Just so you know. Stop saying that. It’s not controversial.”
