Members of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority were charged with theft after stealing statues from a Nativity scene at a public square in Monmouth, the New York Daily News reports. One of the statues taken was baby Jesus.
The women, students at Monmouth College, dumped the statues outside their university president’s home. Police were able to arrest the young women after receiving a tip they were driving a maroon minivan.
The statues were eventually restored to its proper location.
