Rapper 2 Chainz made a guest appearance on Cipha Sounds improv sketch “Take It Personal” and dug into his personal archives to tell a story of a robbery he orchestrated.
Recalling the incident as “bonehead,” 2 Chainz, born Tauheed Epps, described how he and friends stole a car and planned an armed robbery with a friend who worked the register at Wendy’s.
“He used to give us a free burgers and fries,” 2 Chainz said. “We was like ‘wassup man, you be working the register, what’s good?’ We was like, how much usually in the register by six o’clock…he might’ve said $800.
“…So look, we gon ride through, you got us right? He like ‘Yeah.’”
But things didn’t exactly go 2 Chainz’ way whose plans were foiled after another worked recognized his voice through the intercom.
2 Chainz and associates, who had a gun for the robbery, sped away from the fast food restaurant.
