Bryan Barnes

Authorities have arrested and charged two men Tuesday in the shooting deaths of two University of Southern California graduate students from China.

Bryan Barnes, 20, and Javier Bolden, 19, are the suspects in the case that shook an entire and campus and the surrounding local community.

Ming Qu and Ying Wu, both 23, were shot and killed on April 11 while sitting in their car.

Authorities have linked Barnes and Bolden to the crime through shell casings, The Associated Press reports.

The two are also reportedly charged with attempted murder of a 20-year-old man shot and wounded at a Dec. 3 party.

Authorities have charged Barnes with a once count of attempted murder and assault with semiautomatic firearm at a Feb. 12 party where he allegedly injured two 20-year-old victims.

USC and police are planning more video cameras, escorts and patrols in a new security initiative.
