2 Chicago Jail Officers Have Inmate Beaten Up



Two Chicago police officers are facing charges after having an inmate beaten up, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Cook County Jail officers Delphia A. Sawyer, 31, and Pamela R. Bruce, 30, were reportedly charged with official misconduct, obstructing justice, perjury and mob action after ordering two inmates to beat another inmate.

The women, who have been employed with the Cook County Sheriff’s office since 2006, were subsequently terminated from their positions.
