50 Cent has been formally charged with domestic violence and vandalism after he allegedly destroyed his ex-girlfriend’s condo apartment and hit her, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer told CNN.

The woman, who purports to have a baby by the New York native, born Curtis Jackson, says the “In The Club” rapper destroyed her property and kicked her, according to The AP.

Jackson’s lawyer reportedly denies there warrant for his client’s arrest.

Fif took to Instagram to deny being jailed for the alleged crime. He posted several photographs to serve as proof.

According to The AP, 50 Cent faces up to five years in jail if convicted and $46,000 in fines. His arraignment is July 22.
