Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Members Killed in Plane Crash



Sisters Josephine and Jennifer Onita, both members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., were killed in a plane crash in Nigeria, CNN reports.

The sisters, natives of Missouri City, Tx, were reportedly returning from a wedding of a close friend.

Josephine, 23, is a graduate of University of North Texas where she studied accounting. Jennifer, 28, is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she earned her degrees in electrical engineering.

The sisters excelled in their careers. Josephine reportedly managed five locations of her father’s financial planning and tax business, while Jennifer worked at Raytheon and as a contractor for NASA.

Christiana Onita-Olojo, the pair’s older sister, told CNN there were no words to describe the sisterhood shared by them.
