One-half of duo Outkast Andre 3000 is set to play Jimi Hendrix in new biopic “All is by My Side,” MTV News reports.
The film will not be a complete biopic, as the film will only focus on one year of Hendrix’s life. It reportedly will be set during Hendrix’s 1966-67 life as he worked on his debut album ”Are You Expereinced.”
Mr. Andre Benjamin acting debut came in the 2006 film Idlewild. He will use acting experience in the film to bring to the life one of the best guitarists in the history of music.
