Rachel Dolezal, who heads the Spokane, Washington NAACP chapter, has come under fire for misrepresenting her race. Dolezal’s parents have come forward to say Dolezal is in fact White.

Dolezal, 37, has even claimed to be the victim of hate crimes in the past. Dolezal commented though she was born to Caucasian parents, she considers herself “black.”
