Birdman Speaks On Rick Ross Beef During Hot 97 Interview

Birdman sat down with Hot 97 for a very open interview. He touched on a variety of topics, including his beef with Rick Ross.

Ross dissed Birdman in song “Color Money.”

Birdman says he’s unsure why Rick Ross threw shots at him.

“I really don’t know. Me and Ross was like brothers,” he said. “Everyday hanging together. They one of the reason we came to Miami cause them n****s embraced us so strong when we came out here. Really, I don’t know what his call was to even get in me and my son’s business. That’s my son, so whatever business me and him have, that’s gon work itself out. I have the utmost respect for Ross. I taught him a lot of game in this sh*t. He watched my pimping and went and did his own thing with it.”

Birdman says he hasn’t spoken to Wayne or seen him.

“I we speak, we speak. If we don’t, we don’t,” he said. “I can go the rest of my life, not speaking to nobody. I don’t give a f**k about that. That don’t make me. It ain’t gon put no money in my pocket.”

Ross clarified his “Color Money” lyrics during an interview with Power 105 The Breakfast.

“I just released “Color Money” and that record is what it is,” he said. “It’s a lot of different people that’s gonna interpet it a lot of different ways. It is what it is.”

Rozay went on to say he’s not with the sneaky talk.

“Anybody who know Rozay know how I get down. When I come I come. Let’s see how it fold. We most definitely know how I come and what I do. I don’t play no games.”

Ross went on to state he’s on good terms with Lil Wayne.

“Weezy my homie. I was just with Weezy the other night in the club,” he said. “He was just on a remix with me. J. Prince, that’s my big homie. Anything else, take it how you want it.”

But Ross also said he has no relationship with Birdman and is upset with what transpired between the Cash Money founder and Weezy earlier this year.

“…I can’t respect that, and I don’t respect that,” Ross said.

“…Birdman know how I get down,” he continued. “He was in Miami a long time. He know double M act a [fool]. …He ain’t in Miami right now. It ain’t about telling nobody where they can go. That’s fake talk. Anybody can go wherever they wanna go… cause if you was looking for somebody you can go wherever you wanted to go to get em. …To see little homie bus shot up and all this other shit transpire after homie put that on his back. That man got more CMB tattoos than Stunner do. To me, I take that personal.”

Charlemagne went on to say, “ We know who the p***y that Drake is signed to now.”

Ross replied, “It should’ve been easy.”
