Bo Deal is one of the pioneers of modern Chiraq Hip Hop. The Chicago rap veteran and other notable artists helped lay the groundwork for young artists on the rise today. Bo name-drops Bump J, Pac Man, King Louie, Leoski D, LEP Bogus Boys and JoJo Capone as founders of the movement.
Bo praises today’s artists but isn’t too happy with the dysfunction he sees amongst them. He weighs in on this dilemma, rapping, “I was f-cking with them younger n-ggas, all them up and coming n-ggas/But it seems like they was full of drama, n-gga/I show love, I’ma be me/I didn’t care if you was VL, GD or BD.”
As fans can expect, Bo spits knowledge in this hot new record.
Bo Deal is prepping the release of his forthcoming mixtape “Out Wit A Bang: True Confessions.” This project, he said, will be his last before he retires from the mic.
