Bobby Shmurda may be behind bars, but he’s still making moves. The “Hot N***a” rapper announced during an interview with Vibe he’s taking a new artist from his hometown of Flatbush Brooklyn under his wing.
“I’ve got a new artist, and I’m planning to put all my energy and support into him now,” Bobby said.
The artist’s name, Bobby says, is Hood Hefna.
“Hood Hefna,” he said. “Like Hugh Heffner, but Hood Hefna.”
Bobby said Hood Hefna is a childhood friend.
“He’s officially signed,” Bobby said. “He’s been holding it down for me and Rowdy while we up here. That’s one of our childhood friends from the playground. That’s been our bro for forever and he’s been rapping for a long time.”
Hood Hefna has been busy on the underground. Hefna and Bobby collaborated on “Can’t Forget Bout Hot.”
