Bobby Shmurda will have to spend another summer in jail. The GS9 rapper’s trial was scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 12, but it has now been pushed back to September, Billboard reports.
Bobby’s trial on conspiracy, gun and drug charges will commence on Sept. 12. This is the fourth postponement of Shmurda’s trial. It was initially scheduled for Feb. 22, then delayed until May 11, and then moved to May 12, Billboard reports.
Bobby’s attorney, Alex Spiro, requested the date change.
Shmurda and seven of his GS9 guys were arrested December 2014 following a long-term NYPD investigation.
Bobby is currently at Westchester County Correction facility.
