Bump J Issues Statement On Chiraq Music Scene From Prison: ‘I’m Supporting All The Movements From Chicago’

Bump J is staying strong while serving the remainder of his 10-year bid. Bump J recently issued a statement from prison regarding Chiraq’s burgeoning Hip Hop scene.

“I’m supporting all the movements from Chicago,” he said.

The Chicago native, born Terrence Boykin, was an aspiring rap artist who generated much buzz in the underground circuit before he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his involvement in a bank robbery in 2009.

The heist netted the rapper and accomplices over $100,000.

Bump J’s music helped lay the groundwork for putting Chicago music on the map.
