Capo’s much-anticipated follow up to “G.L.O.N.L.” was set to drop Feb. 28. But the project was pushed back without explanation.
Despite the delay, fans will soon get their Capo fix in a matter of weeks. The Glo Gang artist announced the “G.L.O.N.L.” sequel will drop in April. The “SRT 8” rapper promises “real music” in his upcoming release.
“April 22nd Glonl2 ! Y’all gone be Able to PreOrder it NextWeek! And it’s real Music not All dat fake sh*t N*ggas be Rappin 2014 My sh*t!” Capo wrote in an IG post.
Capo additionally confirmed the project with a leak of the project’s tracklist. Capo’s new catalog of music will feature production from 808 On Da Track, Shakir So Based, DJ Kenn, Dree the Drummer and Zaytoven, to name a few.
Guest features on the tape include Chief Keef, Cdai and BallOut.
Fans can expect a different Capo in this project. The “What You Had” rapper revealed this mixtape would feature drill music.
“Ima give y’all Dis Drill s--- on Glonl2 I’m jus warming Up dese rappers Might as well hang it Up!” he wrote on Twitter.
Capo dropped the first installment of “G.L.O.N.L” on Nov. 7. The tape features the tracks “Bein Famous,” “Thotty Party” and “Hate Me.”
