Cassidy made it his intention to put the nail in the coffin on his rap beef with Philly counterpart Meek Mills.
Cassidy released “Catch A Body” in response to Meek Mill’s “Kendrick You Next.”
Cassidy mocked Meek for taking eight months to respond to his “R.A.I.D” track.
“This idiot done put out another diss track about me. But you know I stay in the lab. It took a n---- like eight, nine months to respond. He had to sit, think and have a bunch of n----- around him helping him come up with lines,” he said. “Then he flipping lines he been done said in February…. cause you know that R.A.I.D. s--- got under his skin. That s--- f----- him up emotionally. That n---- can’t get over that. It was eating at him everyday, so he had to come back with something.
Meek hit Cassidy with four separate verses using legendary Hip Hop instrumentals, including Tupac’s “Hit Em Up;” Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who shot Ya;” and Nas’ “Ether.”
Meek went no holds barred on Cassidy, even mocking a near-fatal car accident the “I’ma Hustla” rapper was involved in.
“I wasn’t even thinking about the n----. I’m in the stu, banging out…I’m in a whole nother bag,” Cassidy continued. “Since he dropped that song, I’ma let him know it’s not dead. I thought the n---- was dead already. “…This ni**a must got like nine lives. That’s what p------ got. At the end of the day, I’ma take al of em away today.
“It’s so easy easy to me cause it’s no real competition because the n---- can’t even rap,” he added.
