Chicago Artists Smylez and Prophet Jewel Drop ‘Alone & Confused’ Official Music Video

Smylez is pushing forward with his unique musical sound after dropping “Alone & Confused” with fellow Chicago emcee Prophet Jewel. Shot by Mr. 2 Canons, Smylez dropped a music video for the song on April 23.

Though the “The Villain” rapper is pushing towards success, he is making sure the memory Joseph “Lil’ JoJo” Coleman is not lost.

During the song’s opening, Lil’ JoJo’s sound bite can be heard as he says, “Smylez on the beat, man. Tell that f*ck boy to catch up.”

Smylez anchors the song and erupts in his verse rapping, “F--- the front door, Smylez coming in through the m------------ roof in this b----/If yall kings, then I’ma a god, better start calling me Zeus in this b----/N----- dying cuz these b------ lying at the last sirens, I done seen all that/ I done took so much in the street, I’ma get rich and give it all back.”

Prophet Jewel spits his gospel, rapping, “My team winning/ Yall losing/Born gangster/ Young Hoover/ Drill s---, real shooter/No time off/ Real trooper/I done been out here in the streets for real/I done bled on the blocks and did time for real.”
