Chief Keef will be saying his final goodbyes to loved ones and close associates in the Chi soon as he is planning for a permanent stay in L.A., XXL Magazine reports.
Chief Keef may have learned he gets more done in L.A. Sosa’s professional development grew during his stay in a California rehabilitation center. He was able to successfully complete his sophomore album “Bang 3” with little distraction. L.A. is also home to his record label Interscope.
But this all depends on whether a judge can determine if Sosa’s rehabilitation was successful. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on Feb. 28.
Cook County Judge Earl Hoffenberg issued a stern warning to Sosa via attorneys who attended a Dec. 12 court hearing on behalf of the beleaguered rap star.
“I’ve had murderers who haven’t had so much time before this court. It’s getting ridiculous. …I’m very happy he’s doing well, but if he comes back dirty, I’m done. This is it,” Judge Earl Hoffenberg said, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Sosa’s plans to make a March 3 deadline for his sophomore album “Bang 3” also depends on his impending court date, according to BillBoard.
Sosa’s manager Peeda Pan told Hot New Hip Hop that date is not definitive.
“We may be looking to push the date back,” he said.
There is currently less than 10 days remaining until the release of “Bang 3.”
Chief Keef promised “old Sosa” to fans to generate buzz. And not to mention, his claim that the project would “raise the murder rate,” according to an IG post.
“Bang 2 And Almighty So On ITunes Right Now But Bang 3 No Lie Y’all Really Don’t know How crazy Im goin #ImFinnaRaiseTheMurderRateUp
“If I’m Lien I Can Get Killed right Now this Shit Is So fuckin hardcore #ThatOldSosa #bang3 Niggas Better Be Scared,” the captions on his IG posts read.
