Chiraq Rapper EBK Juvie Sentenced To 6 Years In Prison For 2015 Shooting

EBK Juvie has been sentenced to six years in prison for charges of aggravated battery and discharging a firearm.

Juvie, born Juvone Steele, 22, will be serving his time at Stateville Correctional Center.

Juvie was charged with shooting another man in the 12200 block of South Normal Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Prosecutors alleged Juvie told followers on IG he was “going to shoot someone on the 1-2-2” while waving a gun, reports. He kept his word and carried out the shooting near 122nd Street.

Juvie reportedly opened fire on a group of people, striking his victim in his heel, thigh and just below his eyebrow.

Juvie fled the crime scene, and was reportedly shot in his ankle 100 minutes later in an unrelated shooting.

Juvie was already on probation for a gun conviction when he carried out the shooting. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation in May 2014 and violated the probation multiple times.
