Chiraq Rapper Rasta Rozae (Thot Boyz) Shot And Killed On South Side



Chiraq rapper Rasta Rozae, born Xavier Thornton, was shot and killed Tuesday night in South Side Chicago, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Rozae, 23, was reportedly shot in the head and chest by his driver when getting out of a vehicle in the 9000 block of South Greenwood at 9:03 p.m. The driver fled the scene.

Rozae was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn where he later died.

Rozae was a member of Chicago rap group, “Thot Boyz.” The Thot Boy released numerous singles, including “Got A Buzz” with Damo, “Finesse” with Vell100, “Time Is Money” with Vell100, “Catching Bodies,” with Jackboy, and “What U Say” with Damo.” His most popular record was “I Got Thots.”
