Earl Sweatshirt Of Odd Future Says Lil Herb & Chiraq Made Hip Hop ‘Exciting’ Again

The Chicago Hip Hop movement is up now. The city’s burgeoning crop of fresh, young talent is proof.

Earl Sweatshirt of OFWGKTA regards himself as a fan of the movement. He recently praised Chiraq and up and coming East Side spitter Lil Herb for making Hip Hop “exciting” again.

Lil Herb was appreciative of Earl’s words, writing, “REAL SH*T BRO.”

“I was born in Chicago we moved to la when I was like 2. hm..,” he wrote.

Herb and Earl Sweatshirt have new, unreleased music together. The two collaborated on “The Boondocks Season 4” mixtape in song “Knucklehead.”

But the track, produced by Earl, never made its way onto the mixtape.

Lil Herb’s track “Watchu Get” can be found on the project.
