El Chapo was found guilty of all charges in court Tuesday. The Mexican drug kingpin, who was on trial for three months, is accused of running a billion-dollar drug empire.
El Chapo – real name Joaquin Guzman Loera – received guilty verdicts on all 10 counts of the indictment. The jury’s decision came more than a week after deliberations began at the trial in Federal District Court in Brooklyn.
El Chapo faces life in prison at his sentencing hearing, which is scheduled for June 25.
