Englewood Boy Describes Lil JoJo’s Gunshot Wounds After Deadly Drive-By Shooting

Chief Keef and Lil JoJo’s rivalry was profiled in CNN’s “Chicagoland” documentary.

Lil JoJo, born Joseph Coleman, was shot and killed Sept. 4, 2012 in a drive-by shooting in his Englewood neighborhood on 69th street. He was 18.

A young Englewood boy described the aftermath following JoJo’s shooting, including the aspiring rapper’s gunshot wounds.

“We all right there. We see JoJo on the ground. Ambulance… they turn him around and you see a big ass hole like this, boy,” the boy explained as he formed a letter O with his hands. I’m like boy, hell nah, he couldn’t get hit one time folk. The girl said they shot like six times.”
