FBG Duck’s Funeral Held On Slain Brother FBG Brick’s Birthday

FBG Duck was laid to rest Wednesday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Joliet, IL. Duck’s funeral happened to be the same day as his older brother FBG Brick who was gunned down Monday, July 17, 2017.

FBG Duck, one of the pioneers of the new school Chicago Drill Movement, was fatally shot the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 4 in the upscale Gold Coast neighborhood in Chicago. He was 26.

Duck, whose real name is Carlton Weekly, was ambushed in a hail gunfire after four people exited two vehicles and shot him with automatic weapons. Duck was taken to Northwest Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A man and woman who were with Duck were also shot and taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but are expected to recover.

FBG Duck became a fixture on the rap scene with the release of his debut mixtape “Look At Me.” Duck’s talents later earned him a record deal with Sony Records.
