Fetty Wap’s Opp Arrested After Posing With ‘1738’ Chain

Fetty Wap was involved in a shooting early Sunday morning that led to him being robbed of chain and cash. In a case of self-snitching, police have nabbed a suspect connected to the incident.

Raheem Thomas posted a photo of himself wearing Fetty’s “1738” chain on his IG account. Thomas denied robbing Fetty Wap on his IG account.

He wrote on IG, “Just to set the record straight. I personally didn’t take @fettywap1738 chain. I’m not responsible for no one else action but my own. I don’t have a personal problem Fetty Wap. He just a good kid in the way. How he got his chain taken I don’t know and I don’t care. That’s none of my business. Did I take a picture with it? Yes. The whole down the hill got a picture with it on. Now enjoy the rest of y’all night. I will love to credit for it but unfortunately, my Instagram is no liar.”

Thomas was arrested near his Patterson home and charged with assault and weapons offenses, CBS News reports.

Fetty and his team were cooling in an all-night deli in South Paterson when another group entered, ultimately sparking an argument, reports.

A physical altercation ensued with one male being struck with a gun. The fight spilled outside, where gunfire erupted. One man, 34, was found with a gunshot wound to his lower leg, and another man suffered a gunshot wound to his torso.

Fetty Wap didn’t let the situation get the best of him. Fetty kept his head held high amid the robbery, as can be seen in positive tweets posted to his account.
