Former NWA Manager Jerry Heller Files $110 Million Lawsuit Over ‘Straight Outta Compton’

Jerry Heller is fuming mad over his portrayal in the multimillion-dollar grossing flick “Straight Outta Compton.” Heller, 74, shot back at the film’s producers and former NWA members, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, by filing a $110 Million defamation lawsuit. Also named in the suit are Eazy-E’s widow Tomica Woods-Wright, director F. Gary Gray and NBC Universal, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Heller, who filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, says the film portrays him as a villain who schemed N.W.A. out of money. In the lawsuit, Heller says he never consented to the use of his name and likeness in the film and that the film stole material from his memoir, Forbes reports.
