Jay-Z Says He ‘Might Buy A Kilo From Chief Keef’ In ‘Open Letter’

Jay-Z gave Chief Keef a shout out in his new song “Open Letter.”

“Open Letter” is a response to politician’s attempt to reprimand the Roc Nation founder for taking a trip with wife Beyonce to Cuba. The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary in Havana on April 4.

Hip-hop producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland combined their talents for the song’s production.

“Wanna give me jail time and the fine, fine let me commit a real crime / I might buy a kilo for Chief Keef, out of spite, I just might flood these streets / Hear the freedom in my speech,” Jay-Z raps.

Chief Keef was pleased with the shout out.

“Salute Jay Z King Of This Shit Abyways,” he wrote.

U.S. law prohibits many Americans from freely traveling to the communist state without permission from the federal government.
