Hip Hop superstar Jay-Z supports President Barack Obama on his decision to support Same-Sex marriage.
“I always thought it as something that is still holding the country back, Jay-Z said in an interview with CNN. “What people do in their own homes is their business and choose whoever you want to love. That’s their business.”
“It’s no different from discrimination against blacks,” he said. “It’s no different plain and simple.”
During the interview, Jay-Z was asked whether Obama’s stance on same-sex marriage will cost him votes.
“I think it’s the right thing to do, so whether it costs him votes or not,” he said. “It’s not about votes, it’s about people. So whether it costs him votes or not, I think it’s the right thing to do as a human being.”
