Jeremih and Chris Brown aren’t on bad terms as many previously thought. Jeremih and Chris Brown were alleged to have been involved in a fight following an argument over a basketball game days ago.
But the two silenced all speculation of their rumored beef after playing a friendly game of basketball game Thursday.
Chris Brown and Jeremih were allegedly involved in a fight in Las Vegas, according to This Is 50. A police report showed Brown was being investigated for battery for his role in the fight.
BET obtained a statement from Brown’s publicist Nicole Perna who denied the singer’s involvement in the alleged altercation.
“Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai’s on May 5th and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well,” Perna said. “He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person.”
A release from the Las Vegas Police Department states on May 4 a verbal altercation on the court led to a physical fight between the victim and Brown.
“The victim prepared to defend himself and was then hit by another male reportedly with Brown,” the statement read.
It further reads, “the victim self-transported to the hospital where he was treated and released. Detectives responded to the scene at the hotel but Brown was not available to speak with them. Mr. Brown has been given the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery, or having the case submitted to the Clark County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. At that time, Mr. Brown would receive a summons to appear in Clark County Justice Court. As of this release, the LVMPD has not heard from Mr. Brown or his attorney indicating whether or not he would sign the citation.”
The investigation has since been dropped.
