LT Hutton revealed during an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club that creative differences led to John Singleton stepping down as director of “All Eyez On Me” movie.
John Singleton hoped to include what many would believe to be defamatory images of Tupac’s life story. In Singleton’s original script, he included a rape scene featuring the legendary rapper during his time in Clinton Correctional Facility. Singleton also included a scene where a young Tupac witnessed his mother engaging in a threesome.
“There were a multitude of things that he wanted to do that just weren’t flattering to Tupac himself,” Hutton told the Breakfast Club. “It was almost like, ‘What are you doing? You knew what was going on, and now you want to defame the guy.’ Not on my watch.”
