Smylez, born Izerrick Aigbokhan, unexpectedly lost his life Thursday, Oct. 27. Smylez is credited with spearheading the Chicago drill movement that sparked the careers of some of Chi Town’s most popular rappers, including P. Rico, Lil JoJo, Lil Jay, Rico Recklezz, Swagg Dinero, Killa Kellz and many more.

Family and friends made the trek to 1st Corinthian Baptist church at 7500 Halstead to bid farewell to the legendary Chicago producer during his homegoing service on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Members of the JoJo World camp were also in attendance to give their friend a proper burial, including Killa Kellz, Rico Recklezz and J Mfkn Real.
