Oh, so there’s more to the story.
Cole revealed early Friday why she made disparaging remarks about Destiny’s Child’s member Michelle Williams.
“Sounds about right! Cause I didn’t give a shyt what she thought about my soul train performance when she spoke her shyt.
“Gonna say this again! Michell spoke on me first. So it was open season to state my feelings on her. I always felt that about her. Just never said it. Until she spoke on me,” Cole wrote via her Twitter account.
Cole sparked controversy after taking a shot at Williams during Beyonce’s 47th Annual Super Bowl halftime show.
“I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michell sung and woke my ass up from my daze! She always fuckN the groove up,” she wrote via her Twitter account.
Backlash soon followed after Cole made the out of pocket remark.
“Dear Keyshia Cole, Until you can sing ON KEY, walk AND dance at the same time, we’re going to ask you as a NATION to have several seats,” Twitter user @mrsdarian wrote.
Twitter user @FoolishThoughtz wrote, “You COULDA came for Michelle but see….the way your album sales and live singing is set up…. @KeyshiaCole.”
Cole was unfazed by the criticism as she tweeted a photo with an image of herself and statement reading, “YOU MAD?
“But hey! I love y’all too! And y’all girl is WACK and always will be! #Boss!!” she wrote
