Kobe Bryant Breaks Jordan’s All-Star Record

This past weekend at the 2012 All-Star Game, Kobe Bryant was on fire breaking and coming in close range with breaking several records held by other NBA Legends. In his 13th All-Star appearance, Bryant scored 27 points passing Michael Jordan in all-time All-Star game scoring.

The 33-year-old phenom now has 271 points, passing Jordan’s 262 points.

AOL Sporting News reports Bryant also passed Jordan for the all-time lead (111) in field goals category with nine made.

But Byant didn’t stop there.

He also passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar into second place for field-goal attempts with 218. He stills trails Jordan, who has 233 field goal attempts.

Bryant scored two 3-pointers, which brought him to within one of Ray Allen, who leads with 22 in his career.

Records weren’t the only things broken in the game, though. Dwayne drew a hard foul on the superstar in the third quarter breaking his nose.
