Kodak Black’s legal woes are stopping his money flow. Kodak Black is no longer on Future’s upcoming Nobody’s Safe Tour. Project Baby was replaced with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. The tour additionally includes artists Migos, Tory Lanez, Asap Ferg, Young Thug and Zoey Dollaz.
The tour is scheduled to begin on the same day as Kodak’s sentencing. Kodak was found guilty of five of six counts of violating the terms of his house arrest during Wednesday’s hearing, the Sun-Sentinel reports.
Kodak’s attorney, Raven Ramona Liberty, told Bossip her client won’t serve any jail time. She expected Kodak to perform at every date on Future’s Nobody’s Safe Tour.
“I have the utmost faith in God that he will be out on the fourth and will start the tour,” Liberty told Bossip. “Fortunately he has the money to pay for attorneys. But this happens all the time to young men in his situation. I don’t think sitting in jail is the correct punishment.”
Prosecutors are pushing for Kodak to spend the next six years in prison. Liberty told Bossip that’s “not the only punishment option on the table.”
The punishment options, Liberty said, include reinstating his probation, extending or modifying it, or prison time. She said that Kodak’s own probation officer hasn’t recommended that he serve prison time, but get counseling and attend anger management classes instead.
Kodak’s mother, Marcelene Octave, wailed after hearing her son was found guilty of probation violation.
“My son!” she screamed, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
Kodak reportedly sat silent as he heard his mother’s anguish.
Kodak will be sentenced on May 4.
