Lil Bibby doesn’t have a definitive date for his much anticipated mixtape follow up to debut “Free Crack,” but he did provide fans a ballpark estimate on its release date during an interview with Global Grind.

“I don’t got a specific date,” he said. “I’m thinking like mid or the end of July. No later than July, though.”



Lil Bibby has been mum on details surrounding his upcoming project, but the tape will feature production from Young Chop as revealed in his “Free Crack 2” promo.

“Free Crack 2 coming soon,” Bibby said. “Yall still gotta be on the look out for ‘The Book.’ I’m a drop that a little later.”

Chop added, “Free Crack 2 is gonna go crazy.”

Lil Bibby is no stranger to working with Young Chop. Chop previously lent his production talents on the first installment of “Free Crack” on the single “Tired Of Talking.”



As far as features as go, Bibby hinted a collaborative track with fellow XXL 2014 Freshman Kevin Gates during an interview with WGCI’s DJ MoonDawh.

“Kevin Gates cool. You might hear some joints from me and him,” he said.



Bibby would later post a photo of himself and Gates in the studio to IG with a caption, reading, “FREE CRACK 2 @iamkevingates.”



Bibby’s “Free Crack” earned positive reviews from fans. It featured a slew of solid tracks, including, “Change,” “How We Move,” “If You Knew,” “Water” and “Tired Of Talkin,” to name a few.
