Lil Bibby sought inspiration from DMX’s classic hit “Slippin” in new single “Thoughts.”

Bibby has a myriad of thoughts running rampant through his mind. He begs for clarity.

Bibby thinks aloud, rapping, “I’m going crazy and sh-t/It’s me against the world and they waiting for me to slip/The city that I come from is hateful as sh-t/This devil in my ear got me praying and sh-t/And these are private thoughts, why I’m saying this sh-t?”

This single appears on XXL 2014 Freshman mixtape.
