Lil Durk is flying high right now after being named a 2014 XXL Freshman. But Durk would be even more ecstatic if his OTF compadres RondoNumbaNine and OTF NuNu were on the list.

The “OC” rapper told XXL Mag he was surprised Rondo and Nuski weren’t selected.

“…Cause they started with is and they put in a lot of work, too,” Durk told XXL Mag.

The OTF frontman was among 12 MC selected for the highly touted list that included “Chance The Rapper, Isaiah Rashad, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Vic Mensah, August Alsin, Troy Ave, Kevin Gates and Jon Connor.

Four total Chicago rappers made the list.

Lil Durk is inching closer to the release date of his much anticipated mixtape “Signed To The Streets 2.” The project is slated to drop June 18.
