Durk’s forthcoming “Signed To The Streets 2” mixtape doesn’t have a definitive release date yet, but the Def Jam rapper did reveal it would hit the net next month.
Furthermore, Durk revealed the tape would be his most personal project to date.
“All my music I make on #SignedToTheStreets2 cumin from feelings so take it persona I guess.
“#SignedToTheStreets2 dropping in #may,” he wrote.
Durk issued a “Signed To The Streets 2” PSA in late March, telling fans the tape was “on its way.”
“Signed To The Streets 2 on its way, man. Shout out DJ Drama. Shout out to all these hard working artists, it’s a f*cking movement. It’s a drill. Shout out to all my competition who on my a-- and I’m on they a--. I’m up next. Squad sh*t only, man.”
Durk has been pretty much mum on details surrounding the project, but the Def Jam rapper promises the sequel to be a motion picture.
“#signedtothestreets2 gone be a movie n*ggas say it but I mean it @djdrama #OTF,” Durk wrote on IG.
Durk echoed this claim in his Sound Mann-produced “Working With Lil Durk” vlog.
“Shout out DJ Drama, French Montana. We got a lot of producers messing with us for this “Only The Family” album,” Durk said. “A lot of new producers, up and coming…ones that’s hot, scorching. We finna go crazy on this album. Shout out Young Chop. Shout out Def Jam. This finna be a movie… ‘Signed To The Streets 2,’ we got a lot of features in place.”
Durk’s presence in the studio hints he has heat in store for fans. Durk’s latest single to hit the net is “10K.”
