Lil Jay Postpones ‘Clout Lord’ Release Date Until Christmas

Lil Jay has postponed the release of his much-anticipated mixtape project “Clout Lord.” The project was initially set to drop on his Nov. 12 birthday. Fans can now expect a Christmas release date.

“Yall know what time it is. I’m finna take off on you f-ck boys. ‘Clout Lord’ mixtape dropping Christmas on iTunes. Eighteen songs, all unreleased,” he said.

Lil Jay stirred controversy with his recently unveiled cover art for his forthcoming mixtape.

Jay is presented as the anti-Christ in the blasphemous cover art that was designed by Villain Graphics.

Jay wears a Jesus-inspired crown of thorns as he points two pistols at both sides of his head. Jay stands in the midst of hellfire as smoke billows from his mouth and blood trickles from his head and stone cold eyes.

The cover art got Jay’s stamp of approval via IG.

“#CloutLord,” the caption on his post read.

The FBG Clout Boy has been promoting the project for the majority of 2014. He boasted in early February the project would be the “Best Mixtape To Start Da Year.”

He would later go on to drop a series of songs that would downplay any doubt in his ambitions, including, “Bars of Clout,” “I Got It,” “Can’t Stand You,” “New To Me,” and “Do That Alot” and more.
