Lil Jay is currently battling his own legal woes, but is is now mourning the loss of his younger cousin Arthur McGraw
Jay’s team posted a message onto his IG account, writing, “RIP Arthur McGraw. Lil cuz got shot last night in Chicago. [Pray] for our family.”
McGraw, 23, was fatally shot in the head Monday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in South Side Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reports. Police found McGraw lying on the sidewalk, and transported him to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Lil Jay was charged with murder in May 2015 after his associate, Filmon N. Rezene, 25, died from injuries sustained in a shootout, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
