Lil Reese Asks Montana of 300 Where He’s From

Like Chief Keef, Lil Reese may have found issue with Montana of 300’s use of ‘300’ in his stage name. The “Supa Savage 2” rapper messaged Montana on Twitter, writing, “@MONTANAof300 we’re you from boy.”

Fans of the Chicago Hip Hop scene may recall a brief twitter dispute between Montana of 300 and Chief Keef in 2012. Many fans of Chiraq’s drill culture have come to associate the term “300” with Chief Keef’s Black Disciple set. Sosa took issue with Montana of 300 for incorporating the numerical value in his stage name.

Montana sat down with Drea O of Hockstar to shed light on the social media incident.

“I don’t know what the f-ck [Chief Keef] thought. DGainz was shooting both our videos,” Montana explained. “He tweeted DGainz and was like, ‘Who the f-ck is Montana from 300?’ and didn’t even at me for me to see it. …I heard from a fan… then I seen the tweet and DGainz said ask him. Chief Keef didn’t at me, but everybody at me. My fans is clashing with Chief Keef fans. Chief Keef fans like, ‘Chief Keef said you not 300. You fake and your fufu.’ My fans like, ‘Montana been 300 way before Chief Keef ass was rapping.’ A few people like why you and Chief Keef beefing. I’m like that’s not beef. …Fans was hopping on it instigating it. He never said nothing to me ever. To me it was no beef.”
