Mac Miller Revealed Deadly Drug Addiction In Chief Keef’s ‘I Just Wanna’

Mac Miller was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home from an apparent drug overdose. He was 26.

The Pittsburgh native, whose real name is Malcolm James McCormick, has been open about his struggles with drug addiction.

Mac opened up on his battles with drug and alcohol addiction in Chief Keef’s “I Just Wanna.”

Mac raps:

“It’s just me, myself and money (all this money)
Don’t need nothing else
I don’t need nobody (need nobody)
Don’t even trust myself
Swear I need some f*****g help
Doing drugs to numb myself
Rolling blunts and popping pills
That Molotov, that bomb for real
I’m nodding off, unconscious
Wake up nauseous, god damn alcoholic
Pulling ten grand out my wallet
Know they ‘bout to judge me
I been sitting at the crib, I’m sick of counting money
Bored of being rich as f**k, tried every single drug
It’s not exciting anymore once that first million come
It’s not exciting anymore once that first million come.”

Chief Keef took to his personal IG account to mourn the loss of Mac by posting a photo of himself with the deceased rapper and his deceased cousin Fredo Santana. Sosa didn’t write a caption.

Mac’s battles with substance abuse led to him being charged with a DUI in May after he crashed his vehicle into a power pole in Southern California.

Miller opened up on his arrest during a sit-down interview with Zane Lowe.

“I made a stupid mistake. I’m a human being,” Miller said on Beats 1. “But it was the best thing that could have happened. Best thing that could have happened. I needed that. I needed to run into that light pole and literally have the whole thing stop.”

The Hip Hop community is shaken by Miller’s loss:
